Training is extremely important to a successful supply chain management system launch. At Robocom, our expert trainers provide users with the knowledge necessary to understand the software system and work more efficiently. Our programs provide extensive, in-depth training on every aspect of your supply chain software system.

Courses offer trainees the chance to learn through the use of presentations, hands-on exercises, and study guides. Configuration Training and Review

One of the key elements in a successful implementation is the configuration of your supply chain software system to reflect the way you conduct business and handle product, the basic curriculum of our configuration training class. In this class your implementation team learns how to establish the appropriate tables, rules, and parameters that define how our supply chain solutions will operate in your environment. Our configuration review ensures maximum optimization of our supply chain management applications to reflect your desired processes and business practices.

User Training

Robocom provides two types of user training: supervisor and operator training. Supervisor training sessions teach your supervisors how to use your new supply chain software system. Your configured database provides familiar items, locations, orders, and so forth for these hands-on sessions. Similarly, operator training classes teach operators how to use your version of our supply chain applications. Special care is taken to structure all user training sessions around your selected functionality and staff availability.

Technical Training

We offer two optional types of technical training: interface and internals training. Interface training provides students with an understanding of the interface setup, techniques, and transactions. Internals training teaches your team to support your system from a technical point of view. This class includes topics such as directory structure, system administration, database administration, and so on.

Refresher Seminars/Training Opportunities

Refresher seminars provide an opportunity to review your supply chain processes and procedures and to reinforce the best way to use your system to accomplish your tasks. During these sessions our staff is able to identify inefficiencies, answer questions, and offer suggestions. We also offer Train the Trainer sessions where we prepare knowledgeable employees to serve as on-site trainers. Our new employee training curriculum (and session length) varies, as these classes are designed to meet individual requirements.
