R-Labor - Robocom's Labor Management Solution

Labor costs often represent the single largest component of distribution costs, ranging from 45 to 70 percent of total operating expenses. To drive down the costs associated with logistics operations, fulfillment costs need to be reduced while productivity and customer service levels are increased.

Robocom’s R-Labor labor mamanagement solution has been developed to help distribution companies control labor costs by managing labor productivity. R-Labor offers the functionality necessary to control labor costs, improve customer service, and reduce supervisory requirements.

R-Labor uses modern engineering techniques to set time standards based on distance, time, and other factors in such a way that a “standard” time can be calculated for individual work sets, and an employee's performance can be assessed against the standard time. In cases where the standards are carefully set and then “sold” to the employees as being fair and accurate, significant increases in productivity can result. R-Labor optimizes each employee’s contribution to your supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

Users of R-Labor report direct labor cost savings of up to 25 percent! In addition, Labor Management can increase the overall productivity of your operations by 10 to 25 percent! Typically, the payback on R-Labor is less than one year.
