Choosing the right supply chain software is only the first step toward improving your supply chain performance. The next and perhaps most critical step is the process of implementation. From the moment you chose Robocom as your partner, our team works with you to achieve the best fit possible between our supply chain software and your unique requirements. 

At Robocom we use a four phase methodology to first understand your needs then deliver a system that will help reduce your operating costs and achieve your objectives:

  • Scope – We begin by reviewing your objectives, requirements and operations in detail and preparing a Scope document to define the functions, processes, settings and software enhancements that are required.
  • Plan – Careful planning comes before successful implementation.  Once we understand your needs, we work with your team to prepare a detailed plan to install, test and implement the system.  We use checklists and standard plans then adjust to fit your team and requirements.
  • Build – Using the Scope document, we configure a copy of our supply chain software and prepare to install the complete system.  If software enhancements are required, we develop the software changes needed to address your individual needs.  While this work is completed, our technicians help install new servers, wireless equipment and other devices.  The database and software are loaded and configured, interfaces are connected and the entire system is tested.
  • Launch – The final phase is to train the users and implement the new system, a smooth transition when the first three phases are managed well.  Our approach to Training is an important factor of our overall success.


Each step of the launch cycle is important to the overall success of the project. Thorough analysis defines your unique and specific requirements. Rigorous testing procedures ensure the selected supply chain system is functioning predictably and interfacing properly with other systems.  

Although users are provided with extensive training prior to implementation, on-site support during the launch phase is highly recommended. This support guarantees users are comfortable with new procedures and are able to efficiently perform daily routines.

At the completion of every project, a review or site audit is performed to ensure you realize the benefits you expect.
